At Switchee, wellbeing is an integral part of our overall mission to improve the lives of people living in rented accommodation, that extends to our employees and their mental health.
We partnered with Spill in 2020, amidst the Covid-19 lockdown, to support our employees mental health and empower them to talk about mental health and challenge the stigma that still exists in workplaces even today. With Spill integrated into Slack, our employees have easy, uninterrupted access to mental health support from qualified therapists. As an extra benefit, Spill enables our people managers - especially those new to the role - better support our employees and their mental health. Additionally, Spill provides valuable metrics on employee wellbeing and enables us to create a safe environment for our employees to thrive.
Switchee has been a remote-first business since its inception in 2014; the challenges that come with remote working are not new to us. With Spill, we are better equipped to address any mental health challenges employees may face, in and out of the office.
