Switchee is proud to announce that we are now offering an apprenticeship levy to all our existing employees. We're so happy to have been introduced to this wonderful program by one of our new joiners who gave us rave reviews.
Of course, we were more than happy to help ensure that our new joiner, who is so invested in their professional development, is able to continue their journey on their Project Management course. However, at the time we knew very little about the way the apprenticeship levy worked and how our UK government was able to support our small business with it.
It has been a fantastic opportunity for us to learn more about the process of registering our business in order to be able to manage and provide apprenticeships. It has also highlighted just how many extra learning opportunities we could be offering our team.
Learning and development is one of the best benefits of working here at Switchee. We support our teams with monthly books, annual budgets, career development plans, internal resources and even extra career coaching for our Kickstart members! With such a brilliant addition to our learning arsenal, we feel we are even more capable of providing the best career development opportunities for our team.
Switchee has partnered with Multiverse, who act as our training provider for Data Literacy, Data Fellowship, Project Management, People Leadership courses. All of these courses are carried out by their qualified professionals and every apprentice benefits from networking opportunities, group and 1:1 coaching as well as plenty of real-life examples for their on-the-job training.
Naturally, we're excited about embarking on this new journey but we could not have done it without the support of our leadership - as well as our flexible working! Any learning journey requires time and without managers who are able to commit that time to their team it's significantly harder to benefit from any external training program. We are proud that at Switchee we offer the flexibility and support that encourages and empowers everyone to learn and grow as individuals and professionally.
