Here at Switchee, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) is an important part of our culture, something we’re looking forward to strengthening and strategising moving forward.
We kickstarted our DEI strategy by conducting a company-wide survey for which we received some really good feedback and overall scores. We measured each category of DEIB & Management, averaging all the results for each arm of DEIB.
Switchee scored 85% for Inclusion & Belonging, 84% for Equity, 91% for Diversity, and 90% for our Management and Senior Leadership Team.
We’re thrilled with these results and are committed to continuing working together on keeping them high.
On that basis, we’re excited to announce that we have launched our first DEIB Committee. This committee will play an integral role in strategising and progressing our company culture. The Switchee DEIB committee will meet monthly to help build a robust DEIB action plan for the business.
Our passionate and analytical committee members will create DEIB blog posts for our website, challenge current policies, and recommend new policy creation. All of the above ensures all people within Switchee feel heard and treated equally.
The Switchee DEIB Committee will be involved in weaving Diversity & Inclusion practices into the employee journey, beginning with talent acquisition, onboarding, and performance leading to internal progression.
We plan to continue working hard on building a culture of inclusion, equity and belonging to attract and retain diversity.
